Hello and welcome. I’m Lavern P. Oliver, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I am a Trauma-Informed Empowerment Coach, author, speaker, inspirational content creator, and founder of both VernExpressions and Ready-to-Win Coaching. My passion is helping women heal from childhood trauma, rebuild their self-worth, and move forward with confidence, purpose, and peace.
My journey has taught me that many women become experts at appearing strong while silently carrying emotional pain, disappointment, fear, and self-doubt. I know what it feels like to navigate difficult seasons while continuing to show up for everyone else. Through my own experiences, faith, healing journey, and personal growth, I discovered that our past may influence us, but it does not have to define us.
VernExpressions was born from a simple desire: to encourage, inspire, and empower others through authentic storytelling and meaningful conversations.
For years, I found myself sharing lessons learned through life’s challenges, faith, personal growth, and resilience. Whether through writing, speaking, creating videos, or encouraging others one-on-one, I realized that my experiences could serve as a source of hope for someone else.
VernExpressions became the platform where those messages could live — a place dedicated to healing, empowerment, transformation, and authentic expression.
At its heart, VernExpressions exists to remind people that their story matters, their voice matters, and their journey still has purpose.
As VernExpressions continued to grow, I began meeting women who needed more than inspiration — they needed support, guidance, and a safe space to heal.
Many of these women appeared successful and strong on the outside but were carrying unresolved childhood trauma, emotional wounds, fear, and self-doubt that continued to impact their relationships, confidence, and overall well-being.
I created Ready-to-Win Coaching to provide that safe space.
Ready-to-Win Coaching was founded on the belief that healing should never be rushed, pain should never be minimized, and women deserve support as they reclaim their worth and rebuild their lives.
Through a trauma-informed and faith-guided approach, I help women move beyond survival mode so they can heal, grow, and ultimately win forward in every area of their lives.
My mission is simple:
To create safe spaces where women feel seen, heard, valued, and empowered to heal from their past, embrace their worth, and confidently move into the future God has prepared for them.
